Overview

Established in 1882, TAFE Queensland is one of Australia’s largest education providers with over 120,000 students enrolled in qualifications and other programs each year across the state, nationally and internationally.

With over 50 campuses, including those at Wide Bay Burnett, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Greater Brisbane, Darling Downs and South West, where more than 250 courses and qualifications are offered, TAFE Queensland is the largest vocational education and training provider in Queensland.

The public TAFE provides Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma courses in a large range of subjects: Accounting, Hospatility, Business, Commercial Cookery, Engineering, Horticulture, Digital Media, Nursing and Visual Arts among others. Besides, it also provides Associate degree, Bachelors Degree and English Language Programs.

The median tuition fee at TAFE Queensland is about AUD 20,000, but varies according to the course and offers/scholarship available. It requires international students to submit English Language Proficiency test results with a minimum of 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent in other tests.
