Overview

Western Sydney Institute training is delivered on-site in the workplace with its 7 colleges at Blacktown College, Blue Mountains, Mount Druitt, Nepean, Nirimba, Richmond, The Hills It annually enrols more than 90,000 students and offers around 1,000 vocational education courses. It is one of the largest Institutes of TAFE NSW.

TNWS’s administrative centre is located at Kingswood in the far west of Sydney, Australia employing approximately 1,450 full-time and 2,500 part-time staff. TNWS also has an international delivery arm and students from approximately 35 countries study with WSI. It also operates the Building Industry Skills Centre (BISC) at Castle Hill.

WSI offers entry level courses for people looking to start their education, Certificate to Advanced Diploma level courses for people looking for career-related skills, and short courses for people looking to advance their skills and careers. Additionally, many courses have credit transfer arrangements with universities for people looking to go on to or returning from university.
