The University of South Australia (UniSA) is a public research university in the Australian state of South Australia. It is a founding member of the Australian Technology Network of universities, and is the largest university in South Australia with almost 32,000 students.
UniSA offers a wide range of undergraduate programs that will provide students with the knowledge and experience to take up an active role in a global workplace. Students can choose from more than 400 degrees in a wide range of disciplines which includes business, health sciences, education, arts and social sciences and IT, engineering and environment.
The university supports undergraduate students through a range of resources to help them find a future career and explore the pathways on offer. UniSA also promotes international experience by encouraging students to participate in student exchange, short term programs, overseas internships, and international research and study tours.
UniSA welcomes and supports overseas students from all over the world with a range of services and resources. Before students travel to Australia, UniSA helps students in their preparation. They are provided with some useful information on visa and passport requirements, travel insurance, things to bring, things not to bring, accommodation, personal insurance, managing finances and part-time work.
The university offers free airport pick-up for new students. The university also schedules a welcome week and orientation so that students can meet other new international students and get help with enrolment, accommodation and adjusting to life in Australia. A range of language and learning resource are also accessible. For questions and other concerns international student officers are always available to help. Aside from these supportive services, UniSA grants scholarships for international students who are found eligible.
The annual undergraduate tuition fees are $28,400 for business courses, $24,400 for Arts/Education, and $33,400 for Engineering/Science.
UniSA has a range of scholarship categories, including financial support for high achievers and students in need. The university has scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Many UniSA scholarships also provide specific assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Australian government scholarships, known as Australia awards is available at the university. These scholarships are intended for capacity building in developing countries or for high achieving students, researchers and professionals. The university also offers a number of scholarships to make study in UniSA affordable for international students.

Other Details | Scholarship conditions: 1.Successful applicants will become a UniSA International Student Ambassador 2. Scholarship recipients will be required to be enrolled on a full-time basis at UniSA’s South Australian campuses 3. Scholarship recipients must maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 (or equivalent) in order to receive the scholarship payments 4. Scholarship payments can be received for up to a maximum of four years 5. If awardee's overall Grade Point Average falls below a 5.0, the 50% reduction will not be applied to the next invoice. If the awardee's Grade Point Average returns to 5.0 or more, the 50% reduction will recommence and will be applied to the next invoice 6. Scholarship payments (50% of tuition fees) will be provided as a discount on successful applicants’ student contribution (tuition fee) invoice at the commencement of the relevant study period 7. Scholarship payments (25% of tuition fees) will be provided as a discount on successful applicants’ student contribution invoice (tuition fee) at the commencement of each applicable study period in the first year of study 3. The scholarship applies to the first year of study only, up to a maximum of two semesters or eight courses (36 units) 4.
