Overview

The University of New South Wales (UNSW; branded as UNSW Sydney) is an Australian public research university located in the Sydney suburb of Kensington. The main UNSW campus is located on a 38 hectare site at Kensington. Other campuses are the College of Fine Arts, Australian Defence Force Academy, and sub-campuses at Randwick and Coogee, as well as research stations around NSW.

UNSW offers different types of undergraduate degrees which can be taken through bachelor degree, bachelor degree with honours, dual degree and combined degree program. To gain entry into UNSW, undergraduate applicants need to have a qualification considered to be equivalent to Year 12 (completion of High School). The university also considers a range of other academic qualifications, referred to as university pathways.

The University of New South Wales is a global community that places great importance on overseas students. Other Details The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program seeks to assist students who have demonstrated passion and potential to become great leaders in college and beyond. The Program was established by Julian and Josie Robertson of New York in 2000, and provides opportunities for students to study at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the USA and to enjoy the benefits of both institutions. During the second semester of their second year, Robertson Scholars enrolled at Duke will be able to live and learn at UNC-Chapel Hill, and UNC-Chapel Hill Robertson Scholars to live and learn at Duke. Up to two places are offered to talented Australian undergraduate students each year.
